    Playground and Walking Trail
    This attractive area is available year round for everyone's enjoyment. It features two covered pavilions for picnics, birthday parties, and meetings. Children can play on a safe and fun playground. Behind the playground is a half mile long paved lighted walking trail nestled in a wooded area. Come stroll along the trail under a canopy of leaves, with traces of sunlight filtering through. Everyone will enjoy the sights and sounds of squirrels playing and birds singing in a natural setting.

    Cabot's Youth Basketball season begins in November. Register for this program through the month of October. This program is very popular with around 90 teams and 550 players rebounding at the gyms around the city. Boys and girls from the first through the sixth grade are encouraged to participate.

    Baseball Complex
    The Cabot Youth Baseball Association's  program begins with 4 year olds playing T-Ball. Your child will continue to grow with the program through pitching machine, minor league, and major league. The Pepsi - Ken Morrison Field host ages 11 and 12. Currently, 56 teams have 600 players participating.

    The Babe Ruth Baseball program is available for youth age 12 - 15 with 11 teams having 121 players. Senior Babe Ruth provides programs for youth ages 16 - 18. The league plays at the  Allison Owens/Community Bank of Cabot Field next to the pool.

    Municipal Pool
    The Piranha's, Cabot's Youth Swim Team enjoys a fun filled summer of recreation. The swim team meets at the Veterans Park Community Center, registration begins around the first of May with the season lasting until the end of July.

    Opening June 6th and remaining open until August 14th is the outdoor public pool. Offered are a wide variety of cool summer activities such as swimming lessons, open swim, and rental of the facility for private use.

    Classes are held September through May at the Community Center

    Cost:

    Community Center members (must hold a family 6 month or annual membership)

    $40.00 per child per session.

     

     Non-members

    $60.00 per child per session.

     

    Children under the age of 3 years need to attend mom and tot class held on

    Monday and Wednesday at 9:45am.

    DO NOT EAT AT LEAST ONE (1) HOUR BEFORE LESSONS
